New York is now a hot bed of technology innovation. To capture the flavor of the movement I post summaries of presentations on topics related to technology including programming, applications, systems, statistics, UX, business development, robotics, 3-d printing and art.
I have a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Michigan with work in UX, applied decision making, statistics, and group dynamics and an A.B. from Dartmouth in math. I have an M.A. in math, hold a patent in a new type of leveraged Exchange Traded Fund, develop mobile apps, co-authored a book on psychological measurement, currently run a hedge fund and previously was a chief risk officer and portfolio manager at a fund of hedge funds.
